Praiselight

Terms of Service

Who we are

Praiselight is church presentation software made by Lamplight Technology ("we", "us"). These terms cover the Praiselight desktop app, the web app at app.praiselight.com, this website, and the cloud services behind them.

Your account and your church

A church account is created by whoever signs up first and can be shared with teammates by invitation. You're responsible for who you invite and for keeping your sign-in email secure. One church's data is never visible to another church.

Your content

Songs, service plans, and media you put into Praiselight are yours. We store synced content only to provide the service — we don't sell it, mine it, or train on it. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you present (for most churches that means a CCLI license for song lyrics); Praiselight's CCLI usage report exists to help you report accurately, but reporting remains your responsibility.

Plans, payment, and refunds

Paid plans are billed through Stripe, monthly, yearly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions can be cancelled any time and run to the end of the paid period. Lifetime purchases keep working forever and include two years of updates. If something is broken and we can't fix it, ask us for a refund within 30 days of purchase and we'll make it right.

The free demo

The web demo stores everything in your own browser and may be limited (a watermark, a cap on services). Demo data never reaches our servers, which also means we cannot recover it for you.

Fair use and conduct

Beta notice and warranty

Praiselight is under active development. We work hard to make it Sunday-proof — local-first design, automatic backups — but the service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product grows; material changes will be announced on this site or by email. Questions: [email protected].
